Atlast the IT students had their auditions for the univ. anchor

The new finger-print identification system gives the d students more chance to bunk the d classes.

Students are on fire against some of the faculty members.

IT may have their industrial tour on either on 15th or 16th this month

The "INDUSTRIAL TOUR" IT is mostly to be held on 10th
The students are going to have seminar on "YOGA & MEDITATION" may be on 13th. Its been divided into 2 sessions.
2 branches vl be having it in the morning and the remaining 2 vl have it in the afternoon

V may have a new bus probably in a couple of weeks.

But it seems he has changed and now is keeping his cool and more friendly vth the students

industrial tour:

Today was the turn of the ECE students to go on industrial visit.
They went to "CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TOOL DESIGNING" which is some were near balapur
According to them it was a dumb sick visit and has nothing interesting in it.
So the students who are scheduled to go on their visit's don't expect anything to be interesting.
The students were accompained by BABU RAO ji , SUJATHA and some lab assistant

FUN IN CLASS

Today the students of IT enjoyed all through the day
1.Most boring PHYSICS class thanks to VIJAYA PHANENDRA.
2.They also enjoyed the MATHS-3 class as they do regularly.
3.They also did the same in ENG-lab thanks to the stories told by NISHITH again.

Atlast the IT students had their
1.EG lab.
2.Their INDUSTRIAL-TOUR is to scheduled on 10th or 13th

Sir ne sekha students say

This incident happened mstly this monday or the previous week.
One of our faculty members jumped out of the washroom window into the ground and went to the canteen.
Now were the hell did d rules go.

Sad starting for the month

Well,the month started off on a pretty bad note,actually the day did start of on a pretty bad note may be its a an omen,whether a bad one or a good one(Trust me you do have Good Omens!!),time will decide.

NARAYANAGUDA ROUTE-AMEERPET BUS:

The Narayanaguda bus,met with a dumb accident early in the morning which delayed the bus by close to 40 odd mins,the bus met with an accident which involved an innova,

Here’s the complete story:

The driver of the innova smashed into the road divider,and this dumb guy lost control of the vehicle,which swerved onto the left of the road and collided into the bus which was doing close to 60kmph,well the innova is in no fit shape to be re used,its in a very deadly condition,here are some pics:

Note:The zigzag,stuff is just to drive home the point,of how bad the innova was :P

The damage to the GITAM bus was meniscus compared to the damage of the Innova,but heck,lets get back to the story,the driver of the Innova was forced to call up his owner who lives around Ashoknagar,and this guy took close to 40 mins to arrive.

Umesh bhaiyya(Our driver),called up the management who asked him to come over to the campus with out further delay,but it would look like a hit and run,if the bus did start off to the campus,and we waited,we waited desperately for the owner to arrive on the site on the accident,but as time passed we were growing to be very impatient and raring to have a dig at the owner when he does arrive..

This effect is no better either..:P

The owner arrives:

Finally around 8:10 odd,the owner arrived with a couple of other guys,on a pulsar and some other bike,but crap as we were of the preoccupied notion to kick his a*s off,we were just waiting for a chance to put up a good fight,but as luck would have it he turned out to be a really SWEET guy!!!!

The guy spoke so damn pleasantly that,he gave no indications of his car being wacked up,and considering very little damage done to our bus.lol..!!!

This was the apparent conversation:

This ownerwala was like ,I was worried,on hearing that it was a GITAM bus,I was under the impression that you ppl are from Vishakhapatnam,and I rushed out with the papers as soon as possible.

Something like that..

next he went,I will file an FIR and as my innova has an insurance cover,I will cover your bus repair expenses in that too..

And the best part??

He was concerned about us being late to the college,and he asked us if we had any exams or something important now how’s that..???

Most of the heat in the guys cooled off the instant he got down from the bike and started off with a “Sorry”,he was a wonderful person,the moment we saw a Fancy number,248,we expected some darn fat corrupted poltico guy to come to the drivers rescue,but we got it all wrong,and I am glad we got it wrong..!!!

This my dear readers,would be the best possible start to the month….

Annother dumb seminar:
This time it was from a prof. from IIT hyd.It was on NANO-MATERIALS-ThinkSmart
Well it right after the lunch and most of us were off to sleep in few mins after the start.
It was meant for only for IT &EEE. LUCKY CSE & ECE guys.

KEELE UNIVERSITY :

Another one bites the dust,this was on the similar lines of the last University visit,vis a vis,Greenwich University ,but this was (apparently)comparatively better,it was the same thing Blah Blah Blah,of University has got this and that,we would love to see you and stuff…

It was on for the ECE and MBA students,only.

A delegation of Greenwich University,is set to arrive on the campus on the first and second of Feb,and another University,from United Kingdom too,this is going to be the first visit by such a high profile delegation in the history of GITAM Hyd,watch out this space for the special coverage.

Apparently they will be dealing with CSE and ECE only,but unconfirmed reports put IT and EEE next in line too.

2MRW COLL FUNCTIONS

Places were we can go when we bunk the classes

Haha this is really tough to say were we can hide.
Come on guys "CANTEEN" is not only the place were we can go when we bunk the classess.
Construction is going on all-round the colleage, i think u got the best place to bunk

New faculty

At last the IT had their phy class.

1. He looks to be tough and hard-nut to crack but he turned to be the opposite.
2. He is okay in his lecture but laggs a bit in the way he communicates.
3. We may get a new director in addition to sanjay ji. which means we may screwed if at-all this happens.
   

The new developments that can take place in the campus by end of 2nd-sem or the beginning of 3rd-sem are:
We may get a whole lot of new things -
Grounds- Cricket Football Basketball etc
Labs- Mech. EIE etc
Hostel-The most awaited one is the facility of hostel.They would be ready for occupation by the beginning of 2nd yr.
Totally there are 4 huge buildings 2-boys and 2-girls.
The worst part is that the girls hos. is larger when compared to the boys crapp !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Politics in coll

This is best part of it:

This may bring the anxiety to the students as the 2 people who generally eat our brains are enggaged in a cold war.
They are non-other than SAMPATH & BALAJI.
Now both of these cannot live(survive) in each others company.
As far as the info i got either of them may be kicked out of the campus.
You may notice this even in staff-rooms.

The present campus is going to a new look:

• The campus would take the shape of "L"
• The management is going for enmorous expansion of the campus.
• They are making the construction of the extended part on war-footage
•

We finally arrive....

This blog has been instituted after the success of the previous blog,which is lifeatgitamhyd,but this blog is basically dedicated to the happenings in and around the IT branch,unlike the previous mentioned one which gives more all round news of the campus,i may not be able to give out SCOOP!!,like the other blog,but i will surely,be obliged to do justice to the IT branch,after following th blog,it is pretty evident that,we can take up the challenge on making this blog a success,on the lines of the previous blog,the identity of the owner of this blog,remains concealed,and don't be fooled by the URL of this blog,just because it say IT ,it doesn't imply that its an It student publishing it,similar to the previous one,which give such high detail of GITAM,yet published by an apparent non-GITAMite....We are still working on it,together we intend to form a team and make a fleet of well maintained,blogs,which adhere to basic ethics.
